Dusty Miller is a foliage staple for us but is also an amazing landscape plant. You've probably seen it around town in planters in the dead of winter looking just fine. Its silver gray leaves with a touch of blue green to them set off all other colors and work as a great contrast plant in the garden. Candicans has a serrated leaf and is one of the taller Dusty Millers and gets to be 10-18" for us. Perennial but we usually replace them after a couple years. You can cut it back if it starts to look rough and it should regrow. 12" spacing, full sun, well drained and fertile soil.
