       As a working farm, we focus on using the best of what we have in the field at any given time.  We think this is never a compromise, rather the opposite; using local flowers and foliage expounds the beauty and richness of our area and is a quintessential display of the season.  Much as fine-dining restaurants use locally grown and seasonal produce for the best flavors, floral design works the same way. Focusing on flowers that are not imported but grown right here in the North Carolina piedmont gives a design such a strong sense of place, vitality, and authenticity, not to mention the great environmental benefits that come with a lower carbon footprint.  Each season presents a wide variety of offerings that come together to embody that specific time of year.
