this Wednesday October 8th.
We deliver to 7 miles within downtown Durham and to most of Hillsborough.
It's high dahlia season the next month and then the risk of frost sets in mid-October. Now is the time to soak in fresh flowers before they're gone.

I could never say enough nice things about Alice, her husband Stuart, and the quality of their flowers. I knew I wanted to use a local farm for the floral arrangements at our wedding, and after checking out several at the Durham Farmer's Market, Bluebird Meadows was my choice and I could not be happier. Alice was so sweet and responsive during the whole process. During our initial meeting I gave her an idea of the "vibe" I wanted, as well as a color palette, and then trusted her to run with those ideas. On our wedding day I was truly blown away, as were others -- I lost count of how many compliments I received on the flower and how beautiful they were. They were so perfect, better than anything I could've imagined. Per my wishes, she created and built a "wow" floral arch for our ceremony; my bridal bouquet and two bridesmaid bouquets were just right; and it was so convenient that she also provided all the candles. The flowers were really important to me and I don't think I'll ever forget how stunning they were. Thank you Alice, from the bottom of my heart, for making one of my wedding dreams come true!

The most gorgeous flowers you could imagine! I went into floral planning with zero knowledge surrounding flowers and very little in terms of ideas for what I wanted. Alice gave me ideas and pictures to help me envision what was possible. Because I was so open we were able to focus on fresh summer blooms in a myriad of colors. This direction made my wedding day even more exciting because I didn't know what to expect. My expectations were blown away by their gorgeous array of flowers and arrangements! Our flowers at the altar were breathtaking. I loved the fact that we worked directly with the growers rather than through a florist. I highly recommend Bluebird Meadows!
