I fell in love with this beauty when I saw it growing at Duke Gardens years ago. The purple balls are so fun, playful, and eye catching. It blooms here in late June and is great as a border plant with it's strappy foliage. Likes full sun to part-shade and will grow in even clay soils. Typically pest and disease free (how rare is that!). Perennial plant that you can dig up and divide in the fall.
