I've been spying gorgeous asters blooming around town in late fall. Such a tough time to have a great show of color, but here we have a flower that does the trick and is a native no less! Pollinators go crazy for this one, especially as it blooms when other flower foods are more scarce. These are very easy to grow and this variety's shorter stature will help keep it from lodging. Asters like full sun and rich soil with even amounts of water.
