Product Details

We love this hardy biennial! Plant it late fall and it will bloom for you early spring. It attracts all the songbirds and beneficial insects and makes for a colorful impact flower in the garden with its moody shade of maroon black. It's one of the first overwintered field flowers to bloom after tulips and daffodils and makes for an excellent cut or pressed flower. We have started to give this one a little more space and do 12" x 12" spacing. Likes full sun and well drained soil.
