Another three interest native specimen with fascinatingly beautiful honey-scented flowers in spring that resemble a bottle-brush, followed by lovely green leaves on a nicely shaped form, and then in the fall it puts on quite the fall foliage show with hot orange/yellow/red/purple leaves. This plant is acid-loving, so pairs well with blueberries, azaleas, or rhododendrons. Prefers full sun (where flowering is best) to part sun, fertile and well drained soil.
