Excellent native pollinator plant, majestic in its growth and grace. Joe Pye is a must have in the garden with it's gorgeous mauve, lacy flowers. This one has a great bloom time as well during mid-summer when not much else is blooming in the garden so helps keep up the seasonal interest. Makes for a bold display; whenever I see this in anyone's garden it makes me do a double-take. Deer resistant and looks great planted alone or with several side by side. Prefers consistent moisture, full sun (though ours is very happy with afternoon shade). Cut back in late winter. This one is patented (PP34665) so no home propagation.
