Monarda, 'Jacob Cline', native, perennial, quart pot
Enormous fiery red flowers grace this beauty of a plant. A clump forming perennial, monardas bloom early summer on in our area. They are excellent for attracting butterflies, pollinators, and hummingbirds. Considered to be one of the best red varieties of monarda. Prefers full sun but can handle part shade, likes well drained, rich loamy soil. Great as a single garden specimen or en masse to create a wave of red. Best to cut back to the ground after it flowers to promote new growth.
